The crowd cheers as the prince gallops into the jousting court, passing beneath banners and flower petals cast in his honour. And at the stands, he sees her. The lady promised to him, destined to one day become the queen of his kingdom. He guides his steed toward her and offers a rose, lifting it carefully so not a single petal is bruised by the steel of his armour. And in return she ties a silken handkerchief to his lance.
